Eating disorders affect people of all ages, but are
most common among young women. Eating disorders can create a myriad of
medical problems including permanent bone loss, temporary menstrual irregularities,
infertility, dehydration, and cardiac arrhythmias.
In some cases, these complications are severe enough to
cause death.
But help is available for the eating disorder as well
as the medical complications for all who seek it.
